On May 23rd, Tao Huaiying, Director of the Planning and Finance Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, led a delegation to the Shandong New Green High-Efficiency Agricultural Industrial Park for research. Jiang Weiliang, Second-level Inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Bi Liming, Member of the Municipal Government Party Leadership Group and Vice Mayor; Wang Kangliang, Secretary of the County Party Committee; and County leaders Sun Hu and Ren Li accompanied the research visit. Fan Tianqing, General Manager of Shandong New Green Ecological Technology Co., Ltd., warmly received the delegation and provided a detailed introduction to the park's construction and other related matters.
Director Tao Huaiying and his delegation successively visited the Shandong Kenyuan Smart Agriculture Industrial Park, the Shandong Lyuwochuan Smart Agriculture Demonstration Park, the State-run Lanling Farm Grain Demonstration Field Base, the New Green High-Efficiency Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, and the Lanling County Yuanwang Family Farm. They conducted on-site inspections, listened to reports, and gained a detailed understanding of the county's facility agriculture and grain production conditions.
During the visit to New Green, Director Tao Huaiying toured the Phalaenopsis Automated Logistics Industrial Park and the Anthurium Cut Flower Industrial Park. He also conducted on-site inspections of the project site, the park's planning and construction progress, market conditions, new technology applications, and the operations team. He fully affirmed the development of the county's modern agricultural industry.
Director Tao Huaiying pointed out that developing facility agriculture is an effective way to increase agricultural efficiency, raise farmers' incomes, and promote rural development. He emphasized the need to strengthen policy guidance and industrial support, scientifically layout and rationally plan facility agriculture projects, extend industrial chains, enhance value chains, increase added value, and promote the large-scale, market-oriented, and diversified development of facility agriculture. He also called for continued strengthening of agricultural science and technology innovation, the research, development, and promotion of more digital application scenarios, accelerating the application of digital technologies in the agricultural sector, and further advancing the development of smart agriculture. He stressed the importance of leveraging the institutional advantage of concentrating resources to accomplish major tasks, strengthening leading, systematic, holistic, and institutional innovations, injecting innovative vitality into accelerating agricultural scientific and technological progress, and providing strong support for advancing agricultural modernization.
